American Ju-Jitsu Center is a family business in Homestead created 16 years ago, it has an educational and fair competition approach which makes it a place where the whole family can train, learn and have fun.
February 12, 2002, is an important date for Livan Concepcion, as it is the day when his martial arts academy, American Ju-Jitsu Center, first started. Today is known as one of the best martial arts academies in Florida and nationwide.
The American Ju-Jitsu Center has earned a place among the best academies as it holds three karate world championships and approximately 150 state and national titles. The academy’s good name is due to the achievement of its students who excel in the league competitions which they belong, the Florida Black Belt Association (FBBA), and the North American Sport Karate Association (NASKA).
Therefore, the American Ju-Jitsu Center is proud not only for the results achieved at various competitions but for being a family business that has grown hand in hand with the Homestead community. “We strongly believe in the Homestead Community” explains its founder Livan Concepcion, which is why all employees are students or their family members, and where the family atmosphere proves this is not a typical martial arts academy.
